Is the N8 compatible with PC Suite as I've had enough of problems with Ovi Suite and just want to rvert back to PC Suite which always worked well with my old N73 and N80 phones.

 

It's time Nokia publicly admitted that Ovi Suite is a pile of c**p in terms of ease of use and continual software problems !!!

i checked on the compatibility with pc suite, i'm afraid the N8 is not compatible.

you have to use Ovi Suite.

have you considered that it's not the Suite but the pc that is having problems?

what kind of problems do you have?

Whilst pavilion_alex is correct in as much as latest version of PC Suite is concerned this is not the whole story and certain versions are compatible such as 7.1.40.6 of March 30,2010:/t5/Nseries-and-S60-Smartphones/How-to-use-Nokia-N8-with-PC-Suite-7-1-30-9-apparently-compatible/m-p...

I am running PC Suite 7.1.62.1 on my WinXP machine and apparently the last update made PC Suite compatible with N8...yea!!!  Thank you, Nokia PC Suite & N8 team, much appreciated.
