hey...

yesterdat on 8th feb. nokia suite showed a belle update for my N8....but today on 9th feb i again checked its not showing....i had to cancel on 8th feb because of slow speed of internet connection...

How can i get belle update for my N8 via PC or Phone?

plzzz.....help....

its not showing in ovi suite ihave 3.3.86 ovi suite but then too belle update is not available on ovi

is there any other way to do it

You all have my complete sympathy as I went through the same process.  May I suggest you check the following out to ensure an update is available to you.  In my case I discovered that Orange UK has yet to permit its users upgrade:-

its available in my country....but yet not getting it in Nokia Suite neither in Software Update in my N8...

Yea, I have already checked the link http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/nokia-belle-update/nokia-belle-update-availability and it says it is available for my N8-00 product code-0599330...
I have Nokia suite 3.3.86 on winXP and curretnly with Symbian anna 025.007...

its available in our county i.e is india and its also available for our product.Its showing in phone also,that is update available but its a pc update so we cant update through my device.but the ovi suite does not show any update its says that your phone is up to date.but it doesnt have belle on it.So PLZZ any help.....

has any one find the update.. I am from India as well and cant see this upgrade in Nolia suit, also when i check for software update on my phone it just show no update avaliable. Pls let me know if there is any issue or fix for this

Yes I did, and its available in India as well. however I am currently in UK. for some time and trying to do it from here. hope that should not matter, i have nolia account registered on my Nokia suit with country a India. I can see on above link its available in India. dont know hy its not showing there in Nokia Suit. any further Idea please..

Hi Marina,

did you get a chance to look at this this issue, there are many people having same problem, not able to find this update on Nokia suit, please let us know atleast that you are checking this.

Hi all, few comments:

- first, make sure that you have Nokia Suite 3.3.86 installed and in use (you can see version number in top right corner of Nokia Suite)

- check, that Nokia Belle update is available for your product code (you can find list from here: http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/nokia-belle-update/nokia-belle-update-availability) 

- In Nokia Suite, it's recommended to have Tools -> Options "Automatically download software updates" turned on (this way Nokia Suite downloads update packages in background to your PC, so update experience is smoother)

- Additionally, make sure, that if you have any firewall software in your PC, that Nokia Suite is allowed to connect to internet

- Additionally, you can in Nokia Suite Tools -> Software updates click "Refresh", then Nokia Suite checks for latest information from Nokia's server

Thanks Samuli...i got the update as well, .. but one thing.. after update fring stopped loading at all, when i opened it first time it worked and after i exit fring and tried opening again, its not at all opening. any idea about issue with fring on Belle, I use fring frequently and its not working now on belle.. please let me know if you come across any such issue.
