Has anyone tried?
During the installation of TB9 it says that the addon in not compatible.
After having had to downgrade I don't feel like risking again, and therefore stopped the installation.
The same has happen to me. I resolved it by simply deinstalling the addon and installing the new Nokia Suite. Afterward, when I started Nokia Suite 3.3 for the first time, I selected "Sync / Sync Options" from the main menu and then, within "Choose what to sync" I pressed on "More options", selected "Mozilla Thunderbird" and clicked on "Change" button. This should open a window "Profiles and folders" that, after several (two) tries, should show "Personal Address Book" and "Collected Addresses" to chose between. If you see them, everything goes well and you will probably be able to sync.
BTW, it really did not work with my installation for the first time. However, it helped that, during the process of installing the new addon, I obtained a message that TB crashed. From it I understood that there was a problem when starting TB from NS and indeed there was! The problem was in Addressbooks Synchronizer 1.0.4 that I had earlier installed in TB. When I disabled it, everything went well.

Just when I sort of had given up on Nokia, they make a move.... ![]()
Well, finally Thunderbird 9 is working! Contact sync, yay!
Will postpone upgrading to Thunderbird 10 (though that will mess with the xulrunner engine updates on linux) in the near future. I´m quite sure it wouldn't work yet.

Thunderbird 10.0 is not supported in NS 3.3. The situation is the same for Firefox 10.0. You havave 2 options – to wait for the next NS release or to downgrade Thunderbird to a supported version (9.0 or below).

I gave up on Nokia Suite a long time ago (because I finally had enough of MikroSaft's arrogancy, dumped Windoze and made the jump to Linux). Yet, I still needed to sync my Thunderbird (the latest version running quite nicely in Fedora 16) contacts with my Nokia fone. Lo and behold, I did it
Alas, I had to sell my soul to Google for this to function but, what the heck, life is short...

I'm still stuck with Windowz, yet, being fed up of having to wait for Nokia, decided to follow your example and pass all my syncs (calendar and contacts) trough Google!
Works as expected, and I'm happy!!
