I have Nokia Suite 3.2.100 running in Windows XP SP3 / HP Compaq 6910p.

I managed to have my Nokia E7 coupled with Nokia Suite using the USB cable and after that it usually connects over bluetooth too.

The problem is that I have set up syncing with MS Outlook and the first item to sync is the contacts. When I'm connected over BT, contacts syncing fails with the popup attached. And this terminates the whole sync.

Connecting over USB works OK, including syncing.

Background: I started using the E7 with a SIM where I have some contacts stored. I then set up the Nokia Suite connection still having these SIM contacts selected in the phone's Contacts application. Later on, I have all contacts set up in the phone's memory and have deselected the SIM contacts in the phone. Currently I don't have duplicate entries in the Contacts (not in E7 nor in Nokia Suite) but there may have been a period when duplicates existed.

My case has probably been solved. What I did:

• uninstall Nokia Suite
• disable Bluetooth in E7
• Install Nokia Suite
• connect E7 using USB (and let Windows find it completely)
• define sync profile in Nokia Suite
• sync E7 to Nokia Suite over USB
• disconnect E7
• enable Bluetooth in E7

The sync error may have been caused by some contacts orphaned in the intellisync bookkeeping for my E7. Originally I was syncing some (about 10) contacts from another Outlook folder. Later on I switched over to the "real" contacts folder with all my 400+ contacts and the sync problem started. Nokia Suite UI would still at times show one of my original 10 contacs in the home view top left corner when it should show one of the currently synced contacts.

I failed to sync my contacts and messages from my nokia x2-00 phone via nokia suite 3.3.86.

How to solve this problem? Please reply!

This is SOLVED.

I uninstalled nokia suite, installed ovi suite from the DVD that i got with my phone and then update it! Now i can operate it!
