Hi,

Why dont you consider one kudo (or more) for the solution accepted by the user.  I dont want to broadcast myself to give kudos to me from other users.  Although getting kudos is not main concern for all of us, but resolving their issue

Thanks cricfancy,

that makes perfect sense. We've already asked the board sw to be updated so that every accepted solution automatically also gives kudos. Now we'll just have to wait and see when that's available.

That sounds great vandelay! Do you know how the weighting is going to be? I think a solution should be worth more than one kudos! :smileyhappy:

What do you think?

By clicking the "Kudos!" or the "Solution?" button on the right you can say "Thank You" and you´ll show the author and others that the post is useful.

If this happens, you might want to make it so that self-marked accepted solutions don't give kudos. Unless you also remove the ability for members to mark their own posts as accepted solutions.
Was this post helpful? If so, please click on the white "Kudos!" star to the left. Thank you!

Hi vandelay, do you know when/if we are getting kudos for accepted solutions? :smileyhappy:

Hi illinjah,

no date yet as it requires changes in the forum software that we're using. I've made the request and now it's up to them to evaluate this and make it possible.
