I had registered with Ovi music after buying new phone. I successfully downloaded few songs after registering.
But after few days, I'm having trouble logging in to the Ovi Music site as it continuously shows this message "You couldn't be signed in automatically. Please sign in manually" Ovi player error
Kindly help how to go ahead.
I have reinstalled the ovi suite and ovi music 3-4 times, but no difference.

I have the same problem and above solution does not solve the error.
It started after Ovi Music crashed and had to restart the pc - since then I cannot log in and only receive this flashing message. Any other work arounds?

Hi Alnok,
Try deleting all offline content (not just browsing history) as suggested in this FAQ.

Nope. That didn't do it either. Still getting the sane message and cannot log in.

Ok, thanks for the update. You mentioned that Ovi music (player?) crashed. Please check this another FAQ for such situation.
If that doesn't solve the issue you could try to run repair option for Ovi player. Select (in Windows Vista and 7) Control Panel > Programs and Features, right click on (Nokia) Ovi player and select Repair.
If that doesn't help either try to reinstall Ovi player.

Thanks for the replies. Got it sorted. Used Piriform CCleaner to wipe everything and that did the trick. Not sure why the above solutions didn't do it.

@Alnok - thanks for the update and good to hear you got things working again! Maybe there was some "jamming" registry entry as you needed to use CCleaner to clean things up.

Hi - I'm having the "Couldn't sign in automatically" issue on my handest, so the above troubleshooting (based on a PC solution) won't help. Any advice as to why my N8 just keeps refreshing the page and won't allow me to log in etc?
I just want to spend my money on Nokia, that's all. I understand why they wouldn't want me to, but dammit I really want to...
