Although I have a lot of music files on my Nokia 6300, and the music player has been working fine before, now I can't seem to open it ;-;

When I try to open it, it always goes like this:

At first it says-
Starting music
player

Then after a few seconds, it goes-
Updating
library
0%

Then finally-
No music files
found

-----

The music files themselves can play just fine, but the problem is in the music player.

Please help =)

Try pulling out the memory card then turn off the phone - take out the battery as well.

Then take it back. See if it is now working.

Update us on what happened next..

I'm not quite sure about it, but since these problems happened at around the same time, I think this might be related to my other problem:

Hi,

Try to check if the phone memory still does have enough space to keep the music player running smoothly. Remember to save at least 500kb of it.

If the above still doesn't work, try formatting your memory card or make an update of your phone's software.

Your library database probably has encountered some corruption.

Search for the folder called "private" in your memory card then in some subfolder you will find some files that you can open with a text viewer and see that they contain song information. Delete this file.

hi i, going through the same problem here too~

ive reformatted my memory card so theres nothing on it and ive also updated the software on my phone. and so far, none of that has worked =( so now im also stuck on what to do.. =/

I have the same problem.

Nokia its not a problem with the memory side of things. This some sort of coding error.

Are any of your team looking in to soving this problem or are you going to allow this to sit unsolved!?!

i get a error like you and i had solved it.

1.connect to your computer use cable

2.format your memory card by utility in your computer

3.format your memory card by utility in your nokia phone

4.copy your music and enjoy it
