I have wmp 11, and still i am unable to download any music from nokia's OVI store. Is there any permanent solution to this?

I face the same problem. I use windows XP SP3.

The error message in the yello triangle says 'downloading failed. The network connection to media store could not be made. I also have windows media player installed on my system. Somebody please help.

Go to Edit -> Options and select country as India and try again. It worked for me that ways. Thanks!

I am yet to download even a single song on my computer due to this download failed error. Please let me know if somebody has a solution for this. I've tried changing computer, have WMP 11 installed, and internet connection is working. Nokia care unnecessarily makes me wait for half an hour (probably, the executive takes a smoke/coffee break by making me hold the call) and then tells me that it's a problem with my internet connection because I am able to download the songs on the mobile. I had gone to buy a blackberry when the seller told me of this unlimited download on computer for a year with Nokia X6 and I got fooled around. Now I am repenting this decision of not buying some other brand and bought a nokia and their customer service sucks big time.

it was alright at first with ovi music but after i reinstall the os as i had a serious virus problem then i installed the ovi player again..the downloading of most of the file ended in ""downloading failed"" but rarely some file gets downloading complete...i also installed wmp then...but iam having the same issue again..pls help me to resolve this problem........

hi niranjan try to change the internet connection and then come to the same internet connection.You can also download the music online from music.ovi.com and you can also browse the song from you ovi suite and download the music......first try to change the internet connection and update your ovi suite......in my case the error has been resolved.

I cannot download music from the Ovi store. Everytime I try it doesn't even work. This has been has happening to me for over 2 months now and I can't figure out why????!!!! Can someone please help me and find the solution to my problem please? Thank you :-D

i think nokia executives are right...its our ISP's who are blocking our downloads.i had same problem with my nokia x6.it initially downloaded music from pc too without any problem but after some months the download failed problem satrted coming.adter few days i changed my ISP plan and switched to a new plan and now all downloads are started again.

i am unable to downloads songs from my ovi player or my x6 mobile. Please reply me how to  resolve the issue.When dowanload completed at that time it shows download failed. so i am not able to use that. i have to pay net charges without downloading the charge. so please do some serious thing othervise we have to be serious on this issue.
