oviplayer N97, cannot remove missing tracks

I've tried everything but I cannot remove tracks that oviplayer marks as missing. Why are they shown in albums, artist etc when oviplayer cannot play them? This is getting very much Microsoft Windows Media Player like. Please do feel offended, developer.

 

Is there another possibility than a hard reset and format of the mass storage?

Solution: Backup, Hard-Reset (Bkspace+Space+Shift+Poweron for 10sec), Restore.
