I bought this phone for the music. i ve got windos vista system. when i bought it from the mobile network provider i made sure that it was compatible with my pc.
unfortunately the software worked on XP,Windos 2000, only.
Though, i updated the software on nokia website but when i installed everything still it doesn t find my music.
The only way i can download some music to my phone is via a CD. i m really upset about it and even in nokia PC it can not find the webside information of the CD.
Help is needed..
thank you

Here's what you do. (Or what I did after much playing about and help from people here)
Install the latest version of PC Suite so that you get the drivers to allow Windows to recognise your phone. You may need to uninstall and re-install a couple of times if you are on Vista - it blue-screened my machine at least twice but seems stable now.
Then, right click on the PC Suite icon in the system tray and make sure the Invoke at Startup is disabled. This will stop any problems with Explorer or Office taking an age to open.
Now, forget about PC Suite altogether and use Windows Media Player. Connect your phone with the USB cable and choose the Printing & Media option for the connectivity (not PC Suite or Data Storage). Windows will recognise its existence because the drivers are installed and Windows Media Player will recognise the 5310 as a music device and happily transfer tracks to the phone via the Sync tab - even WMA with DRM.
Hope this helps... Nigel
