Nokia Music Scanner: error sending data after music files are scanned

Hi all,

 

I have successfully scanned one music folder on my PC using the Nokia Music Scanner software but am having issues with another.

 

Nokia Music Scanner scans the music files in the folder without a problem then moves to the 'Sending data to Nokia Music' screen and all is fine until it gets to 98% complete when I get the following message: 'there was a problem connecting to Nokia Music. Give it a moment and try again'.

 

I have "given it a moment" and tried again many times over the past 24 hours without success.

 

Both music folder are located on the same drive.

 

Anyone else experienced this problem? Any ideas?

I cannot even scan. The installer crashes immediately after the launch. The username and the password are verified and correct. All music is on the main hard drive in the usual my music folder in subfolders.
