Hi,
I just installed Nokia Internet Radio (from:
http://europe.nokia.com/A4678057) on my Nokia E51. It all works very well with MP3 streams, good quality etc. over my WLAN connection.
However, the bitrate of the MP3 streams is too high for my GPRS connection. So I tought, the solution would be to listen to AAC+ streams, because they require less bandwidth.
And that is where the problem is. The Internet Radio player refuses to play these AAC streams (for example this one:
http://145.58.33.31:8174/ , tested it in Winamp on PC, works fine).
It opens the stream (after I added it via 'Add Station Manually ', buffers and then says "Radio Playback Failed". Doesn't matter if I try this over WLAN or GPRS, it always fails. This is a bit odd I think, because I thought mp3/aac/aac+ streaming was supported...
Anyone has a solution for this, maybe I'm missing some codec?
Or does anyone know an application which is capable of playing these type of streams?
