Hi Everyone,

I want to know two thing for Nokia 6151, These are :

1: Does it support software installation of new software like symbian programs?

2: Does it have the facility to play mpeg4 video in fulscreen Landscape mode?

1. its a Series 40 3rd Edition set which don't support Symbian (SIS) soft. You can use Java if u find with a maximum limit of 512 KB.

2. Yes you can play MPEG4 also in fulscreen landsape mode like 3gp.

Just confirming about Full Screen Video playback.

I watch 3gp video format on my 6151, the only problem I can see is that in full screen mode you get the words "BACK" & "PAUSE" over the top of the video you are trying to watch.

Also if you have Bluetooth on you'll get the Bluetooth symbol over your video and a minutes/sec counter.

So its not really full screen.

It would be nice if Nokia made all these functions autohide after a few seconds and come back if you push any buttons.

Some additional observations about 6151 & full screen video playback in media player.

No ability to Fast Forward or Rewind.

If you receive a call during playback media player stops and doesn't resume from were it stopped, and with no FF RW functions if you were watching a large video, its back to the start. Very inconvenient if your watching an 1hr+ video.

Maybe something Nokia can look into for there next firmware release.
