Hi everyone!

I just bought the n79 2 days back and was really excited about it. But I got extremely disheartened when the N79 music player just wouldn't PLAY more than half the mp3s I dumped on it!! I used Ivo (ovi?) to dump the stuff I want to hear. On most of the mp3s, it plays the files, but the audio is all garbled, and sounds like gibberish, like those alien voices they show n sci fi movies!!! On alot of mp3s it just keeps skipping to the next one and doesn't play anything, and the music icon on the file changes to a music note with a cross! I can't figure out what's wrong. Here are some of the things I've tried -

1. Install latest (11.049) firmware.

2. Format SD Card

3. Hard format phone - *#7073#(or thereabouts!)

NOTHING has worked! I think it migh be an SD card error, since I plugged in my 5310 expressmusic's sd card, and all the music on that card plays flawlessly!

I really need a fix to this, otherwise I'm going to have to try and return this phone which will just break my heart :-(

Please let me know if there's a fix since I couldn't find the fix online!!

p.s. - most of my mp3s are 320 kbps ones!
