If your getting “General System Error”

1) Connect the phone in "Data transfer" mode to your PC.
2) Delete the two files in "E:\private\101FFC31" (called "mpxv1.mpd" and "pcv5.mpd").
3) Delete the files in "E:\private\101ffca9" (called "harvesterdb.dat").
4) Disconnect the phone from the PC and run the Music Player on the phone.
5) Wait a while for the app to startup. It will be rebuilding the library......
6) Just to be sure, select "Refresh".
Every One knows about Alexander Graham Bell who inventd the telephone, but he never made a call to his family. Bcoz, they r deaf. Live for Others.

Re: If your getting “General System Error”

When I get this error, all the music files doesn't play anymore and my memory card gets corrupted and the first two files you mentioned are in the root of the memory card(E:smileyhappy: and all the rest of the files have disappeared, but the memory card will still have the same amount of space occupied as before, I just don't see the other files. Have you experienced this?

My C7 has just started this “General System Error” with the music player, are these the correct files to delete for this model?
