Folder navigation?

Hi!

I'd like a mobile phone with the possibility of playing the music like I do in my current (relatively old) music player: Selecting a folder, and being able to play all of it including the subfolders. Does any of the Nokia phones have this function? If not, are there programs which can help?

Thanks!

Re: Folder navigation?

If you buy a s60 device then you may get the feature you want by some third party applications like the coreplayer or the LCG jukebox(selecting a particular folder and its subfolders)

Re: Folder navigation?

Thanks for your answer. So there are no phones with in-built support for that type of thing? Or at leest free apps?

Re: Folder navigation?

The built in music player searches the entire memory for files. And i didn't come across any free application for this(except for few like the ultra mp3 which works on older symbian models). But if i ever get to knw i'll definitely inform u. till then u can google it out.maybe u hit something fruitful :smileyhappy:

Re: Folder navigation?

I tried googling, but couldn't find anything. Well, they say that it doesn't exist if it isn't on Google...

Thanks again, anyway!

Re: Folder navigation?

I think your only option would be to create playlists for each folder - unfortunately, this means searching through the full track list to add the songs, so it's going to be a pain to set up initially but hopefully it help in future .. or at least, up until you reset the phone and lose everything from phone memory .. :smileyvery-happy:
