go and checl your download history, if songs are there then you can retry again. If they are not then you need to contact Nokia care. dont take this as loss. Nokia have to give you those 5 songs as this is problem with system, not yours.

Hi,
I too am facing the same problem. The download button in the download history was grey and nothing happens when I click on it.
I have tried downloading the same song again but my track credit got reduced for the same track which I have downloaded earlier. I have contacted Nokia care. I shall post their reply once I they mail me.
The screenshots of the errors are attached.

hey sorry that you had to loose track balance for trying this out. May be that track has some listing issues. But make sure that you follow up with Nokia care and get your due credit back.
You need not loose any of your balance just because someone didnt do their job well of designing system migration properly.
Do let us know about any updates so that others can benefit here ![]()

Hi,
I have comes with music and have only 13 days remaining and as I have recently changed my computer I re-registered my laptop and have started downloading back from my music vault but since 2 days ago I keep getting the same error as hawk0x99 but these tracks are showing in my download history and allow me to download from there but it says 'downloading 0kb of 0kb' and then changes to 'download failed'. I am worried that I wont be able to get my songs back before the comes with music period runs out.
I have contacted the support team but they keep sending me automated replies asking for my imei and my phone number, none of which I have anymore as I lost the handset quite soon after buying it but have an account registered on the ovi music store so dont see how any of my phone details would help as my problem is with the music store and not the handset.
any help would be appreciated.

i also have the same problem why nokia quate problem solved even it is not solved.
the solution is not working for everone.
I also lost around 10 cridt and nothing get.
I am a regular track downloader from Itunes and Nokia Music store but i think nokia music store is suck everyone.
this is shame for nokia developer that they can't resolved the problem.

I am sure 100 % that in this new ovi music-u can download the track only once ! If u try to download the mp3 track again, it will count as another purchase. So be careful on that. This can be confirmed from nokia image below:-

@Suyogmh: I'm following up with the nokia care but they don't seem to respond soon. The following is the reply I got from them when I sent my mail with the error screenshots.

This e-mail is in reference to Ovi music store account for Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. We regret the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that we have communicated your displeasure to the relevant department. Kindly be assured that our executive will revert to you at the earliest in order to assist you further.
I got the above reply on March 31. After that none replied.
@faztaz: Sorry to know that you lost your phone. Presently, I am downloading the music from my phone through the music store application and transferring it to my PC. I guess that's the only way for now. Alternatively, you can go and contact the Nokia care. If you have a laptop, try taking it there and showing the error to them. Atleast then they can understand the gravity of the situation and if the laws in your country permit, you can even legally argue with them.
@dheeraj420: Sorry to know that you have lost 10 tracks. Contact nokia care in your region and let them know this problem. That way, when they rectify, you can claim your credits.

Hello again. I checked the download history and mentioned by the person above, I'm also facing the same issue. The download button is greyed out. I have contacted Nokia Care from the link that you have given me. I'll post their reply as soon as I get one. Thanks.

I am still facing the same issue and I tried the steps told by "Suyogmh"...but in this process lost 5 tracks.
Nokia Music was much better than compared to Ovi Music as I never lost any tracks. As they used to credit the account balance once the download completes not like at the click of the button as it is now.

I also got reply from Nokia care in similar lines, I wanted them to merge my Nokia Music and OVi account.
And after few days they replied they are sorry but it can not be done. ![]()
I am not sure how to remove tag of "resolved" here. I think many guys are facing this issue and it should be changed back to unresolved state.
Also all of you please call/email Nokia care so that they can understand that they have done really bad job in migration from Nokia Music to OVI Music. Very bad thing is that their support system is yet not understanding the issues here.
So lets make a point to raise this issue with Nokia.

Yesterday I emailed nokia care asking for the status of my complaint. The reply today was the same. Here it is:

Hi there! I purchased a Nokia Xpress music handset couple of months back and got a free voucher for downloading 100 songs. I downloaded some of them and heven't used even half my quota yet. I notice that my account 'avaidhyan' got migrated to 'avaidhyanOVI' in between. Now I am unable to download any more music. All queued and new downloads on OVI player are failing making it unable to download music anymore.
Please help! How can I keep downloading the remaining music using my voucher.

I too have faced the same problem, i mailed nokia, but no solution from them, i tried to download again, but they reduce my voucher again, it again showed"Download Failed"
Nokia Ovi suite software is a gone case i guess better stick to ripping CDs.

I contacted Nokia..through mail as well call.....both gave in the same reply...Noted few details and said to wait as it would be looked into at the earliest........
