I just got a 5300.
I have the same question as taak
I tried the recommended software but it won't even detect my phone
HOW do you get rid of those demo music aac files that came with the phone -- I can't find them anywhere!

Re: Delete pre-loaded music

Make sure you've installed driver for your phone's cable. The first time you start MobiMB Mobile Media Browser, you'll need to create connection. Go to File->Setting->Add conection, select DKU 2 cable. Afterward, MobiMB will be able to detect your phone, so you can browse and delete any system files you want
Note: You must close Nokia PC Suite before open MobiMB as well as buy the lastest MobiMB version (only newer version than 3.3 can detect Nokia s40 3rd Edition)
Have fun

i´ve found an easy way. just pulg the phone to the pc, then select on the mobile phone data storage mode, and then the mobile phone will apear on the pc as a mass storage device. then you can go to my computer and enter in the mass storage drive and delete whatever you want! :smileyhappy:

Great, but only work for data on Memory card. I have the easier way: Just format your memory card, then everything's gone :smileyvery-happy:. By the way, MobiMB is very effective to delete phone's read-only files, so I've used it whenever I want to clear my phone's memory. Or use it to change Operator Logo as well

Re: Delete pre-loaded music

I accidentally deleted my preloaded files on my NOKIA N70 MUSIC EDITION last week when I bought my new phone. If you got a memory card, just format it and all phone applications and downloaded files included on the package will be deleted. Just incase you want to restore applications that comes with it, be sure before formatting it list down the applications so that you know what applications to be reinstalled (through internet - www.nokia.com).

As for my case I wanted the N70 THEMES (N STREAM THEME & BLUE NOTE THEME) be recovered on my phone. Please help me out also with this...
