I just installed the NAM Anna update for my N8. So far everything is actually very awesome! 

However when I opened the music player it did a refresh, then it said

"Reparing Corrupted Library. Searching  for music and podcasts"

It just keeps going.

i had a different problem. My music was there and it could find them when refreshing the library but for some reason i wouldn't add the music it found to my library. So i ended up just giving my N8 a full reset(3finger reset). I'm going to put my music back on there and see if it works this time. I'll let you know.

I'm having yet another issue with Anna. A lot of my albums got separated into multiple albums. Like one album now has two album listings, with one having only one song.

My N8 has had this problem ever since I got the phone 12 months ago, anna has not caused the problem on my N8, has anyone else had a similar issue

Is there some file I can delete that stores the library info so it can regenerate it?

@wrender - There are several threads where similar issue is discussed and solutions suggested (which files to delete). Here's couple:
