Adobe Flash performance

For the past six mths, probably since around windows 7 service pack was released i am experiencing issues with flash.

it usually freezes on youtube 720p in fullscreen after a few minutes. Not sure if it is due to the memory usage or processor overload but it freezes such that the audio is looping in very short intervals but slowly moving forward. All of a sudden after about 1-2min the computer will come back. From there, even when watching 360p on youtube results in the freezing.

Not quite sure what happened. I am using 2030 gma 500 drivers and windows 7 starter (aero disabled). the flash performance is great (acceptable frame rate), but the freezing is super annoying.

I recently installed intel ssd g1, which has helped the memory usage but same issues with flash.

Do you think this is due to overheating perhaps? I think it has a greater tendency to occur after i am working on the computer for an hour, although maybe that is just bad memory management on the os.

Thoughts????

Re: Adobe Flash performance

I figured it out! When physical memory approaches 1-2 MB, the flash player freezes.

Anyone know of any good programs to prevent services from running. I am using Norton Utilities 15 and it seems to reduce the load. THere is 223 MB cached.

Any tips would be greatly appreaciated!!
