those of you that have a N95, E90 or the 6110 navigator, you might of seen the option to send your location. (as in the nokia promotional video for the N95)
the strange thing is, when i tried this (sending a mms to myself), i got the following message.

You've been sent a media message from +447***** that your mobile doesn't support. Login at http://www.o2.co.uk and go to your media messaging inbox.

when i look at the attached objects, i see my longitude and latitude and i can send and receive picture messages without a problem? is this a handset of network issue thats stopping the grid ref' from being sent?
when i log in at the above address, there still isn't the attached object containing my location??

well I've found the answer to this problem if anyone else is having the same issues.
its an O2 fault. they haven't updated there mms server to send the lmx location file.
I've learnt from a reliable source that all O2 need to do is add the line application/vnd.nokia.landmarkcollection+xml to the MMSC configuration.
if you're annoyed that O2 customers are denied this feature then please complain to them and then they might pull there fingers out and sort it!

I am having the same problem with dutch t-mobile. My friend and I tried to send locations through mms to eachother (we both have a N95) and the phone states: Unsupported content type application/vnd.landmarkcollection+xml Hoge_hondstraat.lmx

Is there something that can be done about it?

I just bought two 5800 Navigation edition. Can't send the GPS location (.lmx) between the phones. Sending pictures via MMS is fine.

- From the Sending phone, message says "unable to open landmark"

- From the Receiving phone, message says "The media content will not open due to high resolution or image size.

Ovimap : 3.04, SW : 40, carrier : USA T-Mobile (T-Mobile helps me to set up the MMS).
