Hi,
I have a nokia 6210 navigator and it's started to default to some strange words when I'm texting using predictive text - yot (you) and ct (at)
Has anyone any ideas on how I can go about deleting these stored words ?
thanks

To solve the wrong word selection all you have to do is type the correct word several times in a row.
For example if you want "at" and it types "ct" just keep tpying "ct" and change it to "at" each time. After five or six times in a row "at" will be the first word it selects again. Now delete what you have typed and it will remember that you use "at" more than "ct".

Hiya,
Thanks for that, it's worked for the 'at' but I can't get it to recognise you (yot) - really sad I know but it's annoying and I've tried your sugestion loads of times.
Any other ideas ? :-)
thanks

I'm surprised it's not working for "yot" becasue that happened to me on an N96. I had to type that about 10 times, changing it each time before it defaulted to "you".
The other option to wipe out the dictionary is to reset the phone but that will wipe all of your data and any programs that you've added. To do that enter *#7370# like dialing a number. Backup anything that you want to keep!
There may be a way of removing the file that contains your custom words but I cannot remember how to do that at the moment.
