nokia messaging battery

Hi to all!

I love so much nokia messagine email but i have a big problem. it consume my battery!

This is a cvs and a screenshot of nokia energy profile when i'm using nokia messagine email...

Is there any way to reduce my battery consume?

 

Note that battery consume is hight every 10 minutes...

That is probably when your phone goes online to check for emails. You could increase the interval to increase battery life.

Access Settings->When to sync.

There, please note values for "Send and Receive": Soonest, Every hour, ...

I am using 'always online' option ... How does this affect the battery life ?

 

My phone is E72

"Always online" means it is always connected. This is bad for battery life.

It seems that "Always connected'' is the default option for Mail for exchange (E72)

No ! Blackberry has  a REAL push mail's function ! It connects ONLY if you have messages ! not ALL THE TIME !
