hy
I just installed, nokia e-mail push service, and I like it very much, but i have a question.
I've noticed, that the last 3 readed mails(if you dom't have a new mail ) are always on the stand-by screen.
Did anyone know how this can dissapear(only that 3 readed mails)?
Thx, and excuse my english!

Hi,
I also would like to know if there is a chance to remove the three lines (last three emails) form Home Screen on E71. Beside that Nokia Messaging works great.

Hello,
I had a similar problem with Nokia Messaging on my E71 as well. It appears that the Nokia Messaging application (which is called Intellisync in the "Enabled applications" list) is enabled to run on the stand-by screen by default. So, perform the following steps to disable Nokia Messaging from the stand-by screen:
1. Click on the "Home" key.
2. Click "Tools".
3. Click "Settings".
4. Click "General".
5. Click "Personalization".
6. Click "Home Screen".
7. Click "Mode Settings".
8. Click "Home Screen Applications".
9. Click "Enabled Applications".
10. Disable "Intellisync".
11. Click "OK".
12. Click on the "Home" key.
13. The Nokia Messaging mailboxes should now be gone from the stand-by screen.
Hope this helps.

Hi dear bigdog13,
Thanks for your reply. However, I have another question. Your solution of unchecking "Intellisync" only completely takes off the Nokia Email notification from the main screen. But is there a way to let it display only one line, the number of unread emails, just like what the built-in email client does?
Thank you so much bigdog!!!

Hope that anyone can help with this issue. I'm using E71 also. I have company's exchange e-mail which takes one line, then i want to sync my gmail (with 1, not 3 lines which intellisync offers) and to have some space for calendar.
I'm pretty sure that there arn't any available setting on the phone that turns this behaviour off. Do we have to wait for a patch?

This seems like such an obvious (and simple?) request, I'm surprised there is no solution for it.
The home screen has such precious little real estate, it is not a surprise that everyone would like to maximize the amount of info we can see at a glance.
NOKIA - ARE YOU LISTENING? thanks
