nokia 6500s sms log?

hey ive accidentally deleted an sms before reading it...(yes, very stupid lol) and i have no idea who its from. is there any sort of log which can tell me at least the number which it came from or a possiblity of recovery..? ive read some stuff saying that recovery isnt possible on the 6500...just wondering if accidentally deleting an sms is actually the end...

i don't think you can check that on the phone, you might be able to see it on your phone bill, online account and see what number was the text send from, other than that i have not more ideas for you
