inbox problem N95 8GB

when receiving texts they are appearing on my front screen ie the messege alert but once read there is no trace of them in my inbox, as far as im aware it shouldnt be a issue about memory, any ideas?

Sounds like a strange issue, have you tried formatting your phone by turning it off and holding down the green phone, the number 3 and the * key whilst turning it back on?

Just back up your important data and then do this, would probably solve your issue.

Should he try to restore factory settings first instead? To avoid the hassle of backing up data, atleast if it works.

Could do that but generally with this kind of issue it is not a setting problem but a general glitch somewhere in the software.

Best do the hard reset for best results :smileyhappy:

have had the same problem with my E65, tried formatting the phone as per your instructions but problem was not solved. any other solutions.

was adding some appliction. it required me to change the date. i did(just the year). forgot. all new messages were at the bottom of my inbox. SUCH A DOUGHNUT. hmmmmmmmmm easily done hmmmmmm. anyway thought id mention it incase. oh well TOODLES .........
