change memory C for exchange on my N97

Hello all,

Nokia for exchange run very well on my N97. I installed the version 2.09.176.

My problem is, I have not enough place on memory phone (C) is it possible to use exchange with memory D and how is possible.

I have the same problem, and am also looking for a solution.

Replaced my buggy Nokia N97 with a HTC Hero.
Besides the camera and the real keyboard the HTC Hero pawned the N97 on every level.

MfE doesn't support saving mails on SD card.

 

i doubt it very much that it even possible but try to install MfE on SD card, maybe it will save messages "locally"

and neither does nokia messaging, so make that a no if you are considering another option for yourself to explore.

This is not a solution but is a suggestion.

 

The current version of MfE will allow you to search for messages which are on the server that haven't been downloaded onto the phone.

 

So there may not be a need to store that many days of emails on your phone but still be able to work rather efficiently and have access to what you need.

The fact that its not possible to Use E: og memory card to save messages on. Totaly ruin the nice functionallity of Mail for Excange.  I fill up the C: memory during one day. I really hope this will be fixed by a uppgrade soon. I belive no one wants this to fill up the C: memory resulting in a very slow phone.
