agree.
like i said in another post, no wonder mr. stephen elop said that symbian is a burning platform. may be, but now, going by all these bugs and user sufferings like myself, i think symbian has already been burnt.

Nice one superbully.
It's not perfect, but at least gives me some email functionality and calendar sync.
Hopefully the MfE issues will all get resolved eventually......

After Anna update to our E7s, we are having more and more devices asking for security code change over and over again. Our security policy on Exchange does not require password expiration (See attached images). We have changed those devices to another policy which does not require security code.
Exchange Server: Exchange 2010 SP1 update 3
Example phone: DeviceOS - 22.014 and UserAgent - NokiaE700/1.00(0)MailforExchange 3gpp-gba

After several weeks with trying and failing our company support unit finally found a quick fix for the problem.
1. Buy Iphone
2. Add mailbox details
3. Finished
Users can't wait forever for solutions. They need mail and contacts.

Hi all,
Updated my phone (C7-00)to anna this weekend, and ever since the calendar sync to google calendar with "mail for exchange" stoped working.
Tried:
- deleted mfe account and tested new one
- factory restore and reinstallation
- updated phone with latest patches available
Reading the thread here, was helpfull in finding the log file, but not making me happy, there is no solution available yet ?

Could you try following? Leave the domain name empty and enter your email address to username.

@kosander
Could you test with firmware version 25.007? If the device upgrade is not available for your device yet send email to my discussion forum mailbox. Send also the Admin_log1.txt or one which includes newest info.

@svi78
Hello,
The domain is empty and I did fill in the email address as username from the beginning.
I have no clue what changed, but I tried once again with removing the mfe account, and reinstalling it.
Seems to be working now, I got the calendar sync back !
I'll try to find a diference in setup later, and keep you posted.
Regards,
Ken.

Hi!
Recently updated my E7 to anna (022.14) and then to 025.007… still MfE gives Mail for Exchange Error 9. I believed that the issue was ok with latest update, but… No need to say that before Anna, everything was fine as always (I’m using MfE since 2008 more or less)…
I tried everything: hard reset, remove and setup again mailbox, delete device in MS OWA, use email address as username.. I never experienced 403 errors, only error 9.
One thing is for sure: I definitely cannot ask MS Exchange administrators to change Exchange policy for my device only (I work for public body with over 3000 employees), as suggested in previous posts ! I’m believe that it’s Exchange server 2010…
At the moment I’m using Mobile Documents as workaround, but it’s not what I need…
Any help? Thanks...

Same error "Mail for Exchange error 9" appears on my Nokia 700 (Belle, 111.030.0609.C00.01). Is somebody working on that?
