I am using Nokia Messaging. I do this because it is easier to send emails when traveling abroad.
When I want to check my mail I select the relevant internet connection and go to the Mail programme, press options and select send/receive. Often nothing happens. Often there is a small moving signal which shows that the mail is being checked - in landscape view this is a circle with an arrow on it. If there is no movement does this mean that it has instantly checked and found there is no mail to download or have I got a setting wrong?
If I check the connection information it often says: Connection mode- offline mode" and "connection status - connection inactive", even though I have I think just connected!
According to the connection information my last successful sync was 24 hours ago yet I have received on my desktop lots of emails in the last 24 hours.
I would be grateful for any assistance.
