I am still having troulbe on my Nokia E71. I even upgraded to IM Chat version 2.0.20 but it still asks me to either Accept or Reject and use only Ovi Chat due to ended subsription. It is now way past August 27th 2010, a month now and am still having problems!
Please do not forget me.

Dear Nokia team,
Still can't connect to Nokia IM services other than ovi chat. It says that I have to subscribe to Nokia Messaging subscription. Can you help me? Thanks.
I'm using C5 in asia.

It is now getting of for nearly two months with this issue. Is someone going to have the guts and admit that it is their problem and they are still working on a resolution, as getting bounced between Nokia and Orange is getting a bit annoying?
BTW This is to do with still being on the Trial, but having an account that should make it say Operator Subscribed

Just forget nokia messaging and use emoze or some other email app (seven etc) that works. This message should be a sticky it would save users hours/days/weeks of frustration.

The trouble is that we pay for something that I / we can't, or only temporarily use. Orange won't give a discount, as it's part of the package (and would probably class it as a free add on if you asked
), so why should I / we have to use another program?

You can use space-bar for same purpose, in menu you can mark all messages and then you can un-mark not required messages by using space-bar

Hi Guys, I am new to this Nokia Discussion site, please help me to solve this issue, which is troubling me for long time. I have Nokia 5800 XM, using Nokia Email software. When installed two month back it was working perfectly fine, for past one month Im facing lots of problems with it:
1. It dont connect with GPRS.
2. It makes the phone hang.
3. Even if it connects to GPRS, it will disconnect after sometime, and will not connect again, I need to reboot the phone for it to start again.
4. The software will start after reboot, when it is reopened the see the emails, it will hang the phone (black screen).
5. Very important, it doesnt start when the phone is fully charged.
6. Home screen does not show email after hard reset.
The phone has the latest firmware installed.

Hi All,
E71, I faced same problem of NMS asking me again and again for my password. I emailed Nokia care asking them to delete my account. I got a reply from them that they did. I had been told to uninstall the NMS app from my device (which the instructions weren't clear then I figured it myself). Then they asked me to hard reset my device or restore to factory settings. Reinstall the NMS app.
But again it showed the same problem. However, after doing all this I tried another work around where I used the same app with different new email id (OVI in my case) and it got configured. Then I just added all my old accounts once the NMS app started working and now it's working fine for me. Once everything is setup then you can switch back your default mailbox/id to your original one.
Hope this works for some of you as well. All the best!
-regards,
