Over the past 2 weeks, we have received queries from customers who have noticed issues with their Nokia Messaging service behavior and availability. Some of the issues customers were seeing were:
It’s thanks to the community that we have been able to identify the issue. If you are still experiencing issues with your messaging service, that means we are still working to resolve the issue for your account. Please try the steps above after this Friday to restore your service.

Thank you for using Nokia Messaging!

well, if it works then fine, but after my experience of the last months i doubt that?
He guys, how much do you trust your product?
Lets make a bet, if it will work fine for only 2 weeks fine and without any problems i will sell my 5800 for a beneficial thing, if not you gonna swap it against a new nokia where messaging is working, what you think?

Personally, I have been using Nokia Messaging on my E71 ever since it was released in Beta and have no problems whatsoever except one. I can't select multiple messages to delete or mark as read. This would be really helpful, maybe you could include this in one of your updates.

"Remove all email accounts from your device"
That will be interesting as for some people the problem is the phone will not connect to the NM account, and the phone won't let you remove email accounts unless you can connect.
When I had this problem the only solution was a full factory reset after I had my account reset.

that's just too much..why don't you just uninstal the mail client?

Not possible on some phones. e.g. the mail client on the E72 is integrated into the firmware. There is no uninstall (and also means we get limited updates).

I'm using Nokia Messaging on a E71 and for quite some time it stops working (not receiving any new messages anymore), and when I check the log, it says: "Error Memory Allocation failed (Error code: -4). Error occurred in EaPlugin while creating request." I'm also having this when absolutely no other application is running, even after just rebooting the phone completely.
Has anyone else experienced this, and will this problem also be solved on Friday? I think I would rather need an upgrade or so...

Still not working for me, have done everything to get it again, even, de-installed the Email App and re-installed it with no sucess.
Dear Nokia: Please remember in my case, I am paying for the service, and it is not fine to have it in this state!.

More insteresting yet, from 3 email accounts configured in the device, only 1 is working.
1st account is using the very same config (less username and password) as the 2cnd, the 1st is not working, the 2nd IS working.
The 3rd is @ovi.com and is not working.

Today I finally gave up Nokia and got a BlackBerry Bold from T-Mobile.
The Email and social media apps on BB are much superior than Nokia. Another big PLUS is that the BlackBerry has Mac-compatiable desktop program, which Nokia has taken forever to develop.
