Hey folks
Up until yesterday the Nokia Messaging app worked superbly with my E71. But then it wasn't able to connect to the messaging servers and instead kept asking me for my password to the Nokia Messaging service. As I sadly forgot it I tried to retrieve it and therefore got a temporary password from the Nokia Messaging team. My problem is now that even with it I couldn't log in to my account and set up a new password.
Am I screwed now?

For everyone's reference, your Nokia Messaging password is the same password of the email account you signed up for Nokia Messaging with. I.E. - if I sign up with Gmail and type in my password, that's my password for Nokia Messaging.
Private message me your e-mail address and I'll delete your account so you can sign up again.

I got the same problem , but what happened was that I try to RESET THE PASSWORD, but I don’t have that phone number anymore I lost it, I have another phone number so it’s almost impossible to receive the password notification, I tray many ways to reset the pass but didn’t work I try true email they didn’t give me the correct support I which like they could deactivate my account or remove it or delete it so I can register again with the same account helps needs does anyone have any solution.

I have been using my Nokia Messaging wounderfuly the past 2 weeks on my N95 until i tried it on another phone (N79) and it logged me out of my original phone. So I have tried using my original password that I have signed up with and it dose not work! Then I have gone to forgot password and have typed in the answer I have put in and it still telling me its worng. I know I did a big mistake for loging into the other phone to use it becasue it signed me out my original phone. Can you please help me because I realy need the email back on my phone again.Let me know if I need to give you any more information.

Please can someone help me!!!
I had Nokia messaging working fine on my 5800, but then after having to reset the phone, I tried to reinstall Messaging. Now I've got a big problem, in that when I'm trying to set up my email address, it says that my email is already associated with a Nokia Messaging account and that I need to enter my account password. Well, the thing is, I initially downloaded Messaging from the Beta labs and never opened a messaging account on the website (my fault, I know), so as far as I know, I have no Nokia Messaging password. I've tried entering every password I've ever used, but no luck. I've been to the Nokia Messaging website and said I've forgotten my password, but now it wants the answer to my security question - only I never set up a question!!!
So, can someone please help? Is there any way my email address can be dissociated from an account, so I can set up a new one?
I really want to be able to access email again on my phone!

i called them yestordy they told they going to help me out i have to wait 2 bussnies day ,
i will wait for any mail or call from them as far i know more about this i let u know,

oki they reset the password but after i changed the password on my account it got blocked again,

The current password you entered does not match our records. ) i try twice but didnt accept the new password i loged out after i try to log in again and you shoud know what happend i could not log in again, so what happend now i am blocked back again, 2 error ( The user name and password you entered do not match any accounts on record. Please make sure that you have correctly entered the first email address you used when you signed up for Nokia Messaging. )
Requesting for reset password or deactive account Again...!

Hey Davis and folks from the Nokia team!
I feel kind of stupid for coming back to this thread again...but unfortunately the Nokia Messaging app stopped syncing and working again on my E71 yesterday. Same as the last time everytime I try to connect it asks for my password. The problem is that whenever I type in the right one the app tells me that it wasn't able to connect. I tried to get into Nokia Messaging over email.nokia.com but it doesn't work over there either.
Are your servers down or is this a common error??
