Hi, I just got myself a E71 and was trying to set up email using nokia messaging. However, I answered "NO" to the question if i want to create another account into the existing one. Hence, the mail box was created into my "Messaging" (where my text messages is) area.

Now, how do I delete this unwanted emailbox? There are also some messages inside this mailbox!

Menu-> communication-> messaging-> options-> settings-> e-mail-> under default you see the mailbox-> options-> delete.

Hi i have Nokia E71X (AT&T).

n i have the same problem, i just cnt delete the mail box from my msg box and its annoying i have 4-5 mail boxex and of no use. It takes hours to reach the sent items.

pls help
as it hsnt got the same options as of India's nokia E71.

Make a connection first and then delete the mailboxes.

    I'm start using the Nokia Email since Feb '09.. Before this i manage to do setting as i want it to & can remove older than (optional) either 3days, 1 week, 2 weeks OR 1 month.But now, i only can see (optional) remove older than 3 days. What's happen? Is there anything wrong with the Nokia Server? I need the setting to be change from time to time. Most important, setting for email content be save in phone memory atleast for 1 week. Can you guys send the down-loadable link/file for Nokia Messaging Email to me? I already done all troubleshooting as Nokia Careline & Support Team recommendation BUT still persist with the same problem.

i just wanna use the previous version i used before this:
Version: 9.05 (75)

Compare with the update version:
Version: 9.06 (12)

Until now, i still unable to change the setting for:
1) "Remove Older Than..opt 3days/5days/1week/2weeks/1month"
2) there's no auto download atachment folder..opt in kb

I already feel so tired (almost give-up) on getting troubleshooting from time-to-time BUT still unable to use the service as i expected. Is because i'm upgrade my N78 to latest version -v.21.002  (Custom version 21.002.051.1) and upgrade it since  18 feb 2009..??

Please somebody.. help me..

it was still the same until today.. there's still no opt for me to choose "Remove Older Than..opt 3days/5days/1week/2weeks/1month"
