Every time I try to add my corporate email to nokia messaging I receive this error:
Unable to connect to the server. Please try again later.
I confirm that the email address and the password are 100% correct. I confirm my phone setup and internet work perfectly becasue I successfully added another 3 email acounts.
ANYBODY - PLEASE HELP!

It may be that you have the mail server incorrectly specified.
Try using the Outlook Web Access address, but without the "https://" at the start of the URL. That's what got it working for me.

Thanks for your reply.
On this link you are only required email, password & your name. There is no field to enter mail erver. Can you please illustrate what do you mean?
Thanks Again.

It's POP.
Can you please provide a setting example?

It could be like this:
pop.company.be-> is the incoming server. Pop usually uses port 110
smtp.company.be-> is the outgoing server. Smtp usually uses port 25
This is just an example because at your company these settings can be different. Ask IT department.

I have the same error message. It is a Google hosted email account which I can access without issue using any client EXCEPT Nokia Messaging.
Can you elaborate on where an end user can specify/validate POP/IMAP settings. When I navigate to email.nokia.com all I am prompted for is the email address, password and display name.

@tomfoley
I found these steps at one of the blogs. I think they may help you settings things up. Good Luck!
#1 open the Nokia Mail set up email webpage and fill:
youremail address
yourpassword
yourname
Click on next
You should get "unable to connect with the information provided" and a new screen
#2 here fill
password
user name
DO NOT CLICK NEXT!
Instead:
Copy this to the adressfield of your browser: https://netac5.vie.hosting.nokia.com/account/addEm
Load
NOTE: If you do not fill the form the upcoming screen will be missing the password or not load at all
You should be in a sort of advanced settings screen
#3 here fill in youname and your Incoming and outgoing Mail Server settings
click OK
You shouild now be set-up

Hi Tsobh,
Many thanks for this reply, it's certainly a step in the right direction. I've tried a couple of variations (timing-wise) on pasting the URL you supplied into the browser, and sure enough, if done at a certain moment, a web form appears allowing you to specify the incoming/outgoing servers and ports.
Thus far, when I fill in the form with my values, it redirects me to the login page, even if I had logged in successfully just seconds beforehand, and the settings never get updated. But I think there is more for me to try in the steps that I take and the timing of them before I pronounce it as being successful or not. I do note you have included reference to certain caveats as to where/when steps should be taken, and although close to the actual experience, are not a direct step by step match (i.e. certain clicks are missing).
But that should be a relatively minor hurdle, I can see where it's going and did get to that special form which is surely a step closer to the goal.
For anyone interested, this was an email account on my own domain and initially worked fine with Nokia email. When the domain was moved to Google apps for domains is when it broke. I suspect the Nokia server has the old settings and is looking to find the mailbox at the old ISP.
Thank you again, and I hope to report further progress soon :-)

Thanks! Was trying to set up outlook web access to my work email today. Our IT support couldn't help. But that did the trick. Now working fine.

Tom -
Were you ever able to get that email address configured in Nokia Messaging?
I tried the same suggestion in various ways, but was not able to get it to work.

Hi Mark,
In the end I gave up fighting with it and instead spent €10 on a professional subscription to Emoze.com. Best €10 I ever spent.

I decided to revisit this topic out of curiosity and managed to get it working! I solved it with a variation of post #9 by Tbosh.
As you repeat his step #1, take note of the subdomain of the URL, in my case it began with http://netac3.vie....
When you get to the step where he mentions
https://netac5.vie.hosting.nokia.com/account/addEm
replace the subdomain with yours, so in my case the link became
https://netac3.vie.hosting.nokia.com/account/addEm
I suggest you perform the process on your desktop, it's easier than on your mobile device.

Tom -
Good catch.
I took your suggestion and made sure the subdomain in the link was the same as the subdomain I was using and that solved the problem.
Thanks for taking another look at it and noticing the discrepancy.
Hope you have a good holiday.

Yes I also get the same error message "We cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later" as chrischap after filling in the advanced settings. I have been trying to get my university email account on nokia messaging for weeks now.
I tried calling the nokia helpline but all they asked me to do was to do a "hard reset" of my phone. I did not think it would be useful at all.
Can someone please help. Thank you.

I also have exactly the same problem with my university email account.
The account uses IMAP idle and requires ssl.
I have successully set up the account on outlook, but when i use the exact same settings from outlook on nokia messaging i get this error!
This is very frustrating, i very nearly bought a blackberry instead of my new e72. Now i wish i wen with the blackberry!
Has anyone got any ideas about how to fix this?
Thanks
Tom
