I have created a nokia email account, selected the 10 folders that I want to have syncronised and added the gmail account to my E72. However the subfolders are not showing up on my phone even though the inbox is working 100% - any suggestions welcome

Are you using POP or IMAP? Subfolder support or the syncing of subfolders is only available for an IMAP configured account.  While it is true that some email service providers do support subfolders, the Nokia Messaging Service does not support the syncing of subfolders from a POP account. As a result, a POP account configured with the Nokia Messaging Service will not display any subfolders in the user's "Email settings" page. I'm using IMAP - I just cannot get the subfolders to show, even though they are ticked on Nokia's message service

additional - when I log on using my computer to edit the subfolders, I've noticed this ;-

Subscription status

Canceled

Is this important ??
