There are several PTT suppliuers around the world but it seems that NOKIA have decided to remove the PTT from most of its new models. Contacting NOKIA is IMPOSSIBLE so dont even bother.
I think that Nokia is trying to protect the GSM networks. PTT is very cheap to use and I have a feeling that maybe the GSM networks dont like it.
Maybe NOKIA only putt PTT on the phone when the network who buys thousands of phones requests them to do so. Remember you are NOTHING to nokia just a user who when asks questions about PTT and other things is just an ANOYANCE to them. They will NOT BOTHER to repl to you and if the do it will just be a sending you on a wild goose chase.
I have a PTT server and want to offer PTT services in some countries but have the same probelm as you have said.
Good luck with your quest. i hope that someone develops a PTT phone so we can MOVE AWAY from Nokia.
Maybe try http://www.airowireless.com/products.html this looks like a cool phone and has OMA PoC compatible PTT.

i know its an old topic but i had to write here: yeh-ive seen PPT beeing used in TV series in Discovery channel...and few years back i was amased about it... so nokia released 6101 - somewhat good phone and with PTT function... i tought wow-ill buy that phone-so i did, because there was ad's in TV like every second, that nokia 6101 supports PTT aso... they even put ad's on streets saying that it does support PTT-and people like me, bought the phone....then i wanted to use the PTT hmm opent the "app" and got no service message-or something like that, so i rang to my service provider(the one who posted the ad's everywhere about PTT) and asked about PTT-how can i use it aso... answer was simple-YOU CANT... and you never will be!-i asked why u even made ad's about it-they sayd, thats just sales techincs...so there you have it.... and i was **bleep**....soo right now-i dont even feel left out with my nokia 5800....
