Nokia 2760 message saving

Hello there. i bought nokia 2760 few days ago and i found one thing annoying. When i am writing SMS and i will change my mind, and i will press "red phone button" it will automatically save sms. Can i turn that thing off somehow? Just to exit text message editor? Or is there any fast way to exit editor when i wrote some words already?
