Hi!
Cannot set up "push mail" function. In section "When to sync" -> "Timed synchronisation" is "On" and see "Synchronisation interval" from 10min till 1day. There no "always on" or something simillar.
On my N95 Nokia Messaging was working without any problems.
Thanks in advance
Lukasz

I think NokiaMessaging is push by default. "Synchronize interval" is to sync you folders with your IMAP account, like when you delete mails ar add new folders NokiaMessaging client will synchronize these changes according to time interval you specified in the settings.
So your mail has to be "pushed" regardless of what you have in "Synchronize interval" settings.
At least this is how it works in my case.
I'm not claiming to know this for a fact, it is just my 2 cents, as saying goes.

Does it mean it will "push" my mails even if I set "Timed synchronisation" to "OFF"?
BTW. NM work really bad for me today. Yesterday was on N95 8GB and was perfect. F.i. there are new mails on Gmail but on the device nothing new even after force sync.
Do you have similar observations may be? Is it the problem with Nokia service/serwers or my device?
Luk.

Hi Luk,
Considering amount of complaints coming from heavy email users on this very forum conclusion can be drown to certain extend of probability that here Nokia with it's immature messaging service pretty much at fault.
Many people had inconsistencies in mail delivery. Advice is "swallow the load" and wait. Nothing else would be expected of course.

Till yesterday I was the last lucky guy with working NM ![]()
OK. I went back to N95 and it also doesn't sync properly. So it's NM service fault.
BTW. I got few minutes ago mail sent to my OVI mail account from Gmail. The delay was only ~3hours ![]()
Thanks for your help.

You're lucky to get it after 3 hours - on E75 I have quite regularly 3-4 days "delays". This mornig I got cuple of emails for the first time since last friday and now again - silence of the Lamb (NM), even though emails keep coming to my account.
NM from my point of view is actually **bleep**.
