On my old 6300 phone I could select messages and clear all the messages in All Folders in one step.
With the N97 - I have to go into the Inbox - delete each message individually, then into the Sent box and delete all individually and then into Drafts.
I am sure there is a way to "Delete All"
Can anybody help please?

Hi
to delete all messages in one go.
1.switch to the qwerty key pad
2.on the touch screen bring up your messages.
3.then for instance you need to delete received messages, bring that up
4. then press and hold down the shift key () bottom left)
5. then press the down arrow on the right and a tick appears next to the message you need removing do this for all
6. then press the back space button (top right(
7.a message comes on screen...delete yes or no touch the screen on the one you want and thats it,
hope this made sense

Open message folder, open inbox sub folder. Open options in bottom left corner, scroll down to mark/unmark, open and select mark all. this should now show a tick at the side of each message. now click on your waste basket icon and it should ask you if you would like to delete the selected amount. E.g. all your messages, from the inbox file. To repeat in sent items is the same, just open the sent messages sub folder and follow the above instructions. Hope this helps. It took me 6 months to figure it out.
