Hi all, first time posting here. Basically, I have a Nokia N95 that until recently has worked as new for the the past two years, the problem I have is that when I send a text message. It goes to my outbox, but sending always seems to fail, when I press the details it says "MMS Menu: Too much memory in use, please close some applications." However, I don't have any open?
The thing is that I pressed send about 5 times this morning, then turned my phone off and on, then the receipent said they got the message 5 times, although the text was still in my outbox?
I've tried deleting both my inbox and outbox and deleting some photos and songs etc. to save memory but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

I had exactly the same problem out of the blue!! The day before yesterday some texts got through but then nothing at all could be sent by yesterday morning.
After spending hours on the internet and going through forums, the only way I resoved it was to back up everything to Nokia PC Suite, then do a hard reset. Being very un-technical my heart was in my throat, as I had images of trying to find a Nokia repair place open on a sunday.... but it did work! I could then restore pics, texts and contacts to my phone once it was wiped clean. Bit of a pain to re-do all the settings etc but worth it!!
Soft reset - type *#7780# into your phone - it's the same as resetting factory settings (found from the phone menu too). It will not remove contacts, calendar markings, messages, landmarks, applications, memory card).
Hard reset -type *#7370# into your phone - It will format completely the phone flash memory. Thus it will remove everything from the phone.
A warning though, as mentioned elsewhere on this forum, if you have any movies/music that were installed on the phone from new, you won't be able to access them as the activation key gets lost somewhere in the clearup. I backed it up to PC Suite but it didn't make a difference. To be honest I never watched the spiderman movie on mine anyway so I wasn't too bothered - a small price to pay for having the phone working again!
The other problem I had which vexed me for hours, was my phone wouldn't initially connect to PC Suite (from the cd that came with the phone), but I downloaded the newer version from the Nokia site and it worked perfectly.
I hope this helps.... good luck.

Just wanted to re-iterate how important it is to back up all the data you want to keep using PC Suite before you reset the phone!!!!! Then you can restore it to the phone later.
