Hi,
Lately i've been getting the error mesage and am not able to send or receive any sms
"
Not enough memory ro receive message(s) Delete some data first"I've deleted my whole inbox outbox, sent items etc. I've even deleted all the SIM contacts, messages etc by inserting the SIM in another phone.
I've also restored to factory settings. But still the same error occurs.
If i create a sms it sits in the OUTBOX with status as "Resend at hh:mm". And after sometime it says. "Message sent failed" and status in outbox becomes "Failed"
When i go to Tools - File Manager - Options - Memory Details
17 MB Memory in Use
115 MB Free Memory
5 kB Calender
107 kB Contacts
35 kB Messages
0 B Inages
...
..
619 B Documents
I've even restarted the phone a number of times. Nothing seems to help. I've also deactivated the LifBlog application as it keeps track of everything.(Silly application)
I keep getting the flash message box in my status bar....and the error message pops up every now and then.
Please help me. I would be very thankful. Guide me please.

*Dynamic memory means that the available memory is shared between dynamic memory functions. When any of these functions is used, there is less available memory for other functions which are also dependent on dynamic memory.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the reply.
But i've already checked which all applications are running & the result is none.
We can easily check this & none of the applications are running.

That's weird, Factory settings reset is not supposed to delete anything from your phone.
Are your contacts stored on your phone or your sim?

I found the answer which is not very destructive. In the E71do the following:
Menu | Communications | Messaging | SIM Messages.
Delete them all or at least a few.
This fixes the problem. I did not know there were such things as SIM messages.
