Is anyone else having trouble logging into Facebook via social now?  Info is correct, but it (the app) keeps telling me it doesn't recognize it and won't log me in.

Works fine for twitter, however.

I have noticed kind of the same thing... First I couldn't log-in at all to Facebook using Social. Then I read here somewhere that you had to allow "applications" at Facebook. So I logged in to Fb from my PC and allowed it, and then I kind of ....could login using Social...But only for a few seconds.....

I have no problem with Facebook when using a browser from my N8. But if you lets say launch the Social-app, I can see Facebook added and listed in Social and even my email, But if I just sit and wait the email suddenly disappears just like it was never there. Sometimes the email won't disappear and I can start typing my password, but then while typing the app restarts and the email is gone and I have to start all over.

Ah well, I have now tried using Social for a few hours and sometimes I'm able to type in my email and password (when it's sometimes impossible since the app is like restarting for 0.5sec resetting everything written). I have been able to login 3times while trying for hours now.

Sometimes it says my user-ID or password is incorrect but I just keep hammering the Log-In-Button since I know it's correct and then it's logging me in. But I can only stay logged in for like 3sec then the app is automatically resetting itselt to a blank Login-Screen, no email and no password is set.... And I have restored my N8 so it's fresh and so on. This is really weird,...

Is it possible all of our problems has something to do with the servers beeing overloaded?

Today when I woke up I tried to launch Social and connect to Facebook again. I've done nothing, and now it's working perfectly so must have had something to do with Nokia or Facebook servers to do. Been working perfectly the entire day, I've had Social/Fb open up n running the entire time and not a single problem. Ah well, the battery is almost empty since it's been updating Fb all the time

Same here. Unfortunately, Social updated itself last night and now it doesn't work at all. Will only use mobile data, but also says there are no connections available. Quite weak.

...and yes, I've noticed the horrific battery life when using social.  Usually the phone would still be full or near it, standing by over night.  Now I wake in the morning and the battery is less than 50% and quickly goes to the last bar a few minutes later.

I'm also having this problem: keeps telling me the user ID or password is incorrect. I'm pretty sure I entered the right combination a million times!

Anybody knows the solution to this?

To answer my own post:

Well I found the solution just after posting this

When logged in Facebook find the application (Ovi by Nokia) an allow access to your account. Now I can work with Facebook on my N8.
