Hi i got my n73 music edition today and when i was about to send my firt text message it said enter textmessage centers number or something like that i just accidentaly clicked it away and the few seconds after that a message popped up saying failed to send text message. please how do i fix this

You will need the message centre number from your network operator to put into the message centre settings.

Once you have the number, if you need help with the settings, post back and one of us will help.

I suggest you try Mccbleue's suggestion as it is exactly what you need to do if the message centre isn't correct.

go to

Menu > message > Options > Text Message > Message centers

if nothing is in there add new and enter your networks center number, if there is a number there check to make sure it's the correct number

do what our m8s have suggested, most of the time the message center number is automatically downloaded by provider when the sim card is activated, but sometimes it fails, like in your case you have to put it manualy

and in some models, there's no menu for it, if my memory serves me well, you have to call your provider support number so they could download it to your phone like the mms configuration.
