Hello.

I have one problem and i don't know how to fix it. I've tried everything I know but it still doesn't work. Thing is, when I get a text message my phone doesn't ring and it doesn't display it on the screen (that i've got a message). Moreover, when I have a missed call it also doesn't display that on the screen. 

I don't know what to do, please help me!

P.S: Try with setting the phone to factory settings and it still doesn't work...

Oh right, forgot to mention it. I have 6680 Nokia

Have you tried clearing out your inbox and sent items?

Have you tried updating or reinstalling your phones firmware?

Have been clearing my inbox and outbox regulary (i.e daily) so that shouldn't be a problem.

 And the other thing, i really don't know what firmware is so if you could please explain it a little bit?...

And maybe this info will help you; it started happing three days ago when i put the batery out of the phone for one night cuz my battery was low. The next morning when text messages started comming in the phone wasn't ringing.

I don't know why that would cause this problem, probably more of a coincidence.

The firmware is the phones operating system, the link above will explain everything to you.

Ok, I've updated my phone and now it rings.

But here comes the new problem; my Nokia PC Suite does not recognise my phone when i connect it to PC, i mean it says it's unconected. What should i do now?

Try downloading the latest PC suite for your mobile from the nokia website and follow the instructions given in the manual.(You should be able to download that too fas a pdf document from the nokia site)
