Mail for exchange with certificate based authentication

[ Edited ]
Is it possible to use certificate based authentication (exchange 2k3 sp2 activesync feature) to replace the mail for exchange standard user/password authentication on the e61? Our IT security requires us to change our windows network (and exchange) passwords every month, which is quite annoying to do on the device.

Thanks,
Yadin

Re: Mail for exchange with certificate based authentication

Just to let you know, not even Office 2k3 supports cert based auth. I have not seen solutions with cert based auth for OWA access on a ISA 2004 listener. If M4E is capable of doing this, will hopefully be answered by the M4E team watching this board.

Not looking to use it for PC based MAPI. Only for mobile users via ActiveSync. (See Microsoft's tool.)
