Hi
I've searched everywhere for a solution to this but have so far drawn a blank so any help would be massively appreciated:
I want to synchronise only certain contacts from my phone to the Exchange server. At the moment when I sync all the contacts from my phone end up on the server. I want to keep my personal contacts on my phone. I've set the sync option on each contact to 'private' if I want it to go on the server, and 'none' if I don't. They go regardless of this setting.
Other than this problem everything works fine. The calendar and tasks all appear as they should and the contacts go across as well.
I know that some contact fields are not supported by Mail for Exchange so I guess this could be one. Or, does the 'synchronisation' field in the contact settings on my phone only apply to the Nokia desktop software?
I am using Mail for Exchange version 2.9.158 on an E71. I don't know what version of Exchange is being used.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As an update: I've tried synching tasks marked as "none" and "private" with the Exchange server and it worked perfectly. i.e. the task marked "none" did not sync, and the task marked "private" did.
So the issue seems to be with contacts and not tasks.

Exactly same problem here, though phone is E75.
I called to Nokia's Tech support and they say that Address Books syncing preferences should work with Exchange Server and the problem is in Exchange Server configuration. So, I called to firm which offers these services to me and now they have been looking this problem about a week. I'll bet I won't get that call back anytime soon.
