MFE sync problem in E63

I have installed MFE on my new e63 but it does not sync my mails. After going through this board, I upgraded to the latest firmware and MFE. I have just 20 mails in my inbox and there are not many subfolders. It connects to the exchange server and seems to do a sync but no mails are downloaded on my phone. Strangely it updates the calender and contacts but the mails do not appear. Once during night time just 3 mails arrived on phone. So it cannot be a connectivity or credential issue.

Can anyone help? Am I missing something?

Re: MFE sync problem in E63

In the Mail for Exchange email settings, there is a setting 'Sync Messages Back' which can be set to 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or all messages. If you want it to download all messages then set it to all messages.

Re: MFE sync problem in E63

I changed the settings to *all messages* but nothing happened. Are there any separate settings for Push Mail or Active Sync which needs to be configured?

Thanks!

If you have 'Sync Email' set to on then it should work. Have you checked the log to see if there are any error messages. I would recheck all the settings.

Re: MFE sync problem in E63

The Syncronise Email setting is turned to Yes.

My log says

Email Phone:

Added    : 0

Updated : 0

Deleted  : 0

Discarded : 0

Server:

Added    : 0

Updated : 0

Deleted  : 0

Discarded : 0

I am able to send emails from MFE but still not landing in my phone.

Thanks for replying!

Re: MFE sync problem in E63

You could try temporarily moving the messages from your inbox to a temporary folder in Outlook.

Then perform a full resync in MfE. Then try some test messages, if this cures the problem chances are you have a corrupt message in your inbox.

Good luck

Re: MFE sync problem in E63

I have been having this problem for about a month now. The MfE syncs with the Exchange Server only when there is an external client (MS Outlook - client or over the web) "downloading" the email message. It never used to be this way, until 1 month ago.

I have tried changing several settings, but no help so far.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
