Ok, so as the title suggests, I don't want social to overwrite my pictures, I want the pictures I choose to appear in my contacts without unlinking the contact's social network profile.

I have the same question.

There should be possibility to choose whether I want to use facebook's twitter's or mine picture of contact.

By now when I was using facebook picture and I started to follow my contact on twitter, the picture changed to Twitter one (which is an violet egg by the way).

I also have the same issue. I do NOT want facebook pictures as my contact pictures. At no time during the update did it advise me that this would happen. It would have been nice to be given the option. Now I have to look at what other people choose as a profile pic, regardless if it is lewd or disgusting. I do not need this on my business phone. Will there be another update to fix this...at least give people the option?

You can unlink individual contacts from the options in the contacts app. europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/messaging/social-networks/faq
