Emails are not being deleted from POP server

I have an E75.

When using Nokia Messaging on my phone, I am able to delete emails from my POP account.......at least it looks that way.

Later, when I access my POP account using my computer, the emails are still there.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Have you tried with IMAP?

Enable Read Sync for that account (mind you it will get activated for all accounts thanks to some bug) and try. But that might not work either.

 

Best to use IMAPif your account supports it.

This is a POP account for my work - I cannot change it to IMAP.

 

My phone has been syncing with it perfectly for almost 4 months.

However, in the last week or so, it stopped working properly.

 

Now, Nokia Messaging won't delete the email file off of the server.
