I feel your pain.
Nokia has failed its customers and failed itself by prematurely bringing the e75 onto the market before the company sorted out all the email software glitches.
If you run your eye over the dozens of "posts", you'll see a strong theme: after a lot of time, effort and tears, the poor customers finally manage to get their multiple email accounts working ... only to find a short time later that they stop - and, in my case, finally stop forever.
No matter whether the email accounts are Exchange, imap, or pop3, the software always lets them down. (Admittedly if you have a "toy" email account such as an http one, then things aren't too bad ... but the e75 is not for grownups who need a multiple email-capable phone for business.)
Here in Australia, Nokia has treated me with one word: contempt.
Admittedly I was a fool to have believed Nokia's marketing for the e75. I should never have taken Nokia at its word. It's not a mistake I will make again.

Trying to help a friend who has had the misfortune in buying the E75 on the basis that it was supposed to be a good messaging phone. What surprises me is that nothing has happened in 5 months in getting the device to work with Google's mail, contacts and calendar.
The software remains inconsistent, buggy and just will not work, basically. Even when parts of the interface do work as intended, it's clear Nokia's usability experts didn't get to spend more than a dreary afternoon on it. Utterly tragic that Nokia can let its messaging "flagship" crash and burn like this.

Hello all,
Nokia does not currently support third party solutions utilizing the ActiveSync protocol / MfE to connect to servers other than real MS Exchange servers. We are evaluating future support options as part of our normal work.
Thank you,

Thanks for the update Jeremiah. Can you confirm that this information will be clearly displayed on the box and in marketing collateral for the E75?
Had you made this decision and publicised it when I was selecting my new phone, I would not have bought the E75 marketed for its outstanding messaging capabilities, most certainly, but you'd have got much more value out of me... I would have remained a Nokia fanboy, rather, as I find myself now, discouraging anyone from going near the E series.
Latest with my unfortunate friend's phone, just decided today not to show the caller's name when the caller's number is in contacts, but just the number itself. He's kind of a retro kid as it happens, but he's not enjoying being back in 1999 courtesy of his patchy, buggy E75.

All the e75 faults you've listed have also plagued me since buying the phone.
Nokia's misleading marketing hype for the e75 was a disgrace. As one Nokia support person told me recently: "The e75 is not really capable of handling anything more complicated than Hotmail."
New software is allegedly being made avaialble in a few weeks time. My expectations are suitable low.

I'm sure this has been asked already, but I am new to the Nokia Family and don't know where to look. I have the problem of not being able to see the name of the contact who is calling me. All I see is the number come-up, but not the name. How can I fix this? I just bought a new E75.
Thanks,
Aleem

Hi Jeremiah,
I hope you are well and will be able to help me with my E75 woes.
I got this phone recently and set up Nokia messaging very easily. I did not realise I was on a trial, but successfully installed messaging and subsequently my gmail box and hotmail, all of which were connecting successfully and I could easily access through my messaging menu (below SMS messages option)
However, I was told my 'trial' would be ending soon unless I replied to an email, which I did, fully understanding that I would be charged for data (which I was happy with)
However, since friday, I have been unable to receive new messages on gmail / hotmail on phone. I have spent the last few hours on posts, have called Orange (UK) to no avail.
I cannot delete the old mailboxes as it says I have to be connected to the server - I have tried connecting and every other trick to try and remove the mailboxes and reinstall but to no avail.
I have tried to remove Nokia messaging and reinstall, but it says I have an incompatible version even after I have been told I have successfully removed it.
I then went to email.nokia.com and signed up for a new account using my gmail address - but could then not get that on my phone.
I cannot delete my email boxes, they won't connect as it says my trial service has been disconnected (despite my replying to nokia's message to ask them to keep it open) an am really unsure how to solve.
I would welcome any help you can offer on
a) Removing my gmail and hotmail / getting them to synch as they once did
b) Understanding how I could have prevented the problem should it happen again
c) If you cannot help, please point me in the direction of someone who can.
Many thanks,
Mo

Jeremiah,
Why are people still having serious issue with the E75? Why hasn't Nokia improved its documentation and sales collateral for the E75 so that people for whom the E75 is ill-suited (eg, everyone who wants it to work with Google's services) don't buy it.
In failing to communicate such important information, in failing to be authentic, Nokia is undermining it's own brand. Massively. Please alert your marketing team to this as soon as possible... better late than never.
Regards.
